Dance by Inez

In May some key dancers gathered to honor the work our mentor has done for the community.  I say 'Our' because we're talking about Maia (Fiona).  It's one thing to be good enough to win the Design and Dance Festival 2013, but she has given back by teaching and organizing events.  Though I have had other amazing teachers and mentors (Iris, Snow, well, it's a long list), I feel I turned the corner in dance when Maia patiently worked on a Tandem dance with me.  Judging by the tribute of these other performances, I'm not alone.

This celebration was held at Tarn's Point Bay, with Kyser at MC, Domi as DJ, and Ayita as organizer.

Inez kicked off the event as our first dancer.  It was my pleasure to not only watch her performance, but to be able to film it.  I took some shots of the other great dancers at the event, but too much paga slowed my charcoal brush and will present more challenging editing work to repair the damage.  For now, I will let Inez's performance speak for itself.     Maia herself performed last, which you can see in my previous post.
