Background
Gorean dance... is not about dance.
What? Yes, you heard me. It's about service, and especially, a renaissance person's mix of all the arts of virtual immersion. This includes writing, animation, music, costume, technical (HUDs and movers), organizing, cultural context, learning and research, creativity....in short, all the things you need to bring a world to life.
I began my journey watching my kajirae dance and was intrigued by those many aspects. I was invited to judge an event at Falconer's Callera, and was concerned that I had little clue what made a good dance or bad. I applied myself to learning feeling I could not judge it if I could not do it myself. After taking outstanding classes from a handful of schools including Port Haifa, Iris's Academy of Gorean Dance at Port Olni, my Snow's impromptu courses, I entered my first event - helped in no small way by the kajirae who danced with me in tandem performances.
Of particular note are two scrolls regarding dance by Ubar Luther, and especially a set of 80 weekly commentaries published in the Voice of Gor by Master Samos and continued by his Mily.
In this series of Scrolls I hope to arm you with the knowledge for you to start or sharpen your own Gorean Dance.
